Bumble Bee Themed Nursery Decor

Cute!  This super cute nine piece bumble bee nursery decor set from JoJo designs is on sale at Amazon.  We love the butter yellow, black & white gingham, and sage green – great colors for a unisex or baby boy nursery.   The bumblebee nursery set comes with everything you need: crib sheet, bumper, comforter, crib skirt, two window valences, diaper stacker, throw pillow, and toy bag.  It is on sale for $188 (a small, but reasonable discount of 10% – but, hey, every penny counts these days).

We especially like this set because of the soothing butter yellow of the bees and the fabric.  It gives you so much flexibility to decorate your room!  You can find amazing shades of yellow wall paint to create your cozy baby room.  Purchase bee decorative pieces individually to create a more unique bumble bee themed nursery. 

For example, the collection includes accessories such as a bee wall paper border  and a bumblebee accent rug, both of which are reasonably priced.  Use these decorative accessories to match or accent your existing decor.  Pottery Barn Kids has basic sheet and blanket colors including white, butter, and sage.  Consider using the bumble bee pieces above to add detail to accent more basic decor in your baby or kid’s room. 

Bumble bees work nicely with other animal and nature related themes.  Create a forest theme for your child with these design elements.  We think adding some bear themed decorative items is a clever idea.  For a really unique feel, use honey pots as planters for a one-of-a-kind design touch.  Although, best to keep the pots on high shelving away from curious fingers.
