Isn’t baby Audrey a lucky little girl? Her mom has an eye for design as you can see with this elegant pink and grey elephant themed nursery.

To get this look, this Pennsylvania couple started decorating their baby’s room with a pretty shade of pale grey wall paint. Called “Sweet Innocence” by Benjamin Moore, we are in awe of how this shade of grey screams “elegance” just perfectly.  The slightly muted shade of paint allows the bright white and pale pink accents to dance off the wall.

For her crib, mom chose Restoration Hardware Baby & Child’s pink and grey baby bedding. Notice how the pretty pink, grey and white striped sheets and grey crib skirt add that touch of detail and elegance mom? The decadently pink curtains in the nursery are also from Restoration Hardware Baby & Child.

For other elegant decorative accents, mom got creative with ceiling décor by hanging a faux white chandelier from Urban Outfitters. Cleverly, mom and dad covered the cord with the grey and white damask fabric that covers the white glider. Ah, damask – another small but powerful detail that brings elegance to the baby’s room!

Finally, for wall décor, mom chose our personalized elephant parade wall decal in grey and pale pink spelling baby Audrey’s name in our classic type style. She also decorated with a towering white tree wall decal (not seen in the photo) to bring in a bit more playfulness as well as a pink and grey stuffed baby elephant strategically placed on the end table.

It’s not easy to forget an elephant themed nursery and this baby room is no different. A special thanks to this weeDECOR mom for sending photos of her baby girl’s elephant themed nursery who thanks us for helping complete her room.

Contemporary colors and chic style pull this nursery together in pretty pale pink, sage green, and dark chocolate brown. Mom started her decorating endeavors by painting her little girl’s room in a light sage green by Shagreen by Sherwin Williams. We bet Baby Gabriel is sleeping soundly on Carter’s elephant themed baby bedding in brown and sage green. Mom added curtains that are a touch darker than the light green wall paint on her nursery’s wall and placed Carter’s matching elephant wall art next to the window.

To bring that personal touch, mom purchased our personalized elephant wall decal in pink and brown. She chose our plump wall letters that exude playfulness as they spell out “Gabriel”. She also purchased coordinating small and large modern elephant wall decals that she placed above the changing table to help entertain baby Gabriel during changing time.

Mom added other pale pink accents in the form of her changing table pad and a super comfy glider for that feminine touch.

Baby Abigail from Massachusetts is a lucky little girl. Mom used our wall decals to decorate her animal themed nursery. Using a combination of pinks, purples, yellows, and greens and a wide variety of animal motifs, mom designed a fabulously fun baby girl nursery.

We love how the blue painted walls envelop her baby’s room like a sky at dusk.

Mom purchased many of our wall decals including our large classic tree wall decal in brown which she embellished with our pink polka dot owl wall decal and our green boy owl wall decal. She included a bright pink giraffe wall decal at the foot of the tree.

Note above the glider sits our bird on a branch wall decal in bright pink. We bet those two little birds smile sweetly down at mom while she’s nursing baby Abigail.

Over her changing table, mom decorated with our heart butterflies in pink and purple and our polka dot butterflies in yellow and green. So cute! She placed sweet flying bird wall decals above the crib in yellow, lavender, and bright pink. They look so sweet flying through the sky.

Mom’s animal themed baby bedding and changing table cover is called “Morning Zoo” from Land of Nod and features pink and green elephants, hippos, alligators, giraffes, and birds. The crib bedding set also comes in a pretty blue and green.

A Neutral Colored Nursery with weeDECOR Safari Wall Decals

Looking for ideas on how to decorate a neutral toned, modern safari baby nursery? Take some tips from this California couple.

First note how they started with a taupe wall paint (“Cane Pole” by Mythic Paints) to help set the stage. The nice thing about taupe is that it is highly functional and can be used with both classic and modern decor. It is a shade that can be made more “cool” with blues and greens or more “warm” with oranges and browns.

Since mom and dad decided to go with a contemporary look for their nursery decor, they chose this gorgeous modern crib in two-toned white and espresso accents from Babyletto Modo. Note how the dual colors help bring more visual interest to the room. This is a particularly good decorating trick when you are sticking with a neutral color palette.

Mom and dad used weeDECOR’s safari wall decals to provide the playful accents to bring playfulness and personality to their modern baby nursery. We were so glad to help mom decorate baby boy Henry’s monkey themed nursery by providing our personalized hanging monkey wall decal. We’re probably biased, but we think it adds the perfect touch to baby boy Henry’s tastefully decorated monkey themed nursery. This nursery has all the right colors and accents to make us proud.

Mom tells us her wall color is “Wisp of Smoke” from Mythic Paint. We love the soft, muted color with a tinge of purple. Her crib and dresser/changing table is from Munire, maker of elegant furniture for babies, toddlers, and teens. The style is “Essex” and color is “Siena”. The polka dot changing cover brings in beautiful shades of sage greens and browns and is from Carter’s. The cute monkey lamp on the dresser is from Lamb & Ivy’s Papagayo collection.

This Washington DC mom used miles of style to get this crisp, modern elephant themed nursery. And, we were happy to help with our elephant wall decals.

She tells us, “Your elephant wall decals are so cute!  I loved how I was able to mix and match to create the look I was going for. And, I love that your wall decals are made of eco-friendly fabric. The texture is great!”

We couldn’t resist asking her to share her decorating inspiration and are so glad she was willing. She tells weeDECOR, “I love to travel and I love elephants. When I go places, I always look for elephant knickknacks. When I found out I was expecting, I thought it would be fun to create an elephant themed nursery bringing into the baby’s room much of the elephant décor I had purchased over the years.”

She adds, “I also can’t resist Restoration Hardware Baby&Child bedding for their simple and modern style. And, since we didn’t want to find out the gender of our baby ahead of time, it made sense to stick with baby bedding in a neutral green.”

Mom purchased Restoration Hardware Baby & Child’s modern polka dot crib sheeting featuring silver sage and chocolate brown dots. She paired it with their 240-thread-count percale gathered crib skirt in silver sage and chocolate piping.

Her chair and ottoman is from Daisy Baby in Bethesda, a fabulous baby boutique (she tells us) for moms in the area.

Mom finished off baby’s room with elephant themed wall décor. Above the top of her crib, she aligned four of our small elephant wall decals in mocha and brown and added a touch of green with two green wall decal shrubs on either side.  She also accented the nursing corner above her glider with another elephant, a tall palm tree (in small) and a few more shrubs.  And, she hung an elephant print right above her changing table.

One of the things that makes her elephant themed nursery so crisp and modern is she used lots of light colors and white in the room that make her chocolate brown décor choices – her glider, her brown crib bumper ties, and her chocolate brown rug border – visually “pop”. Just darling!
