The white furniture and walls in these rooms provide the perfect canvas for the bold, colorful design elements. A Miami Mom scored the uber-contemporary furniture in Panama and Brazil and brilliantly used fun colors throughout the rooms. She personalized her boys’ individual spaces with our wall letter stickers in the “Smiley” type style. The bright blue was a fantastic choice of color! It looks great with the burnt orange accents on the bedding. Our wall letter decals stand out in the room without looking over-the-top.

The clean, modern design of these rooms offer a fresh interpretation of nursery and kid’s room decor. This mom knows how to work with color and interesting furniture pieces while keeping things playful. The portholes in Nicolas’ boat-themed room are cleverly adorned with Nemo and scuba Mickey. Good golly, Miss Mollie! This is one adorable room! Mollie’s parents put a lot of thought into the design of their little girl’s space. Mom tells us, “We decided on the purple, green and yellow theme because she was born in February and amethyst is the birthstone.” Awwwwwww…

Our bird branch wall sticker is an adorable addition to this room. In lovely lavender, these feathered friends perched on an elegant tree branch are keeping a close watch on little Molly. To bring a personal feel to the room, Molly’s parents used our wall letter stickers in the “Modern” type style to add her name. We love how they chose the color purple. It accents the purple flowers that float around the tree branch and keeps the look from being too matchy-matchy. That kind of attention to detail is something that always “wows” us when we see your photos. You guys think of everything!

A Cincinnati mom wanted to add a personal touch to each of her kids’ rooms using wall decals from weeDECOR. For Lexy, she chose the personalized bird branch wall decal. They know how to do a lot of things well in Texas and decorating little girls’ rooms is one of them. Texas mom and 7 year old daughter Audrey put together this pretty lavender girl’s room that shines! Mom tells weeDECOR, “I’m emailing you photos of my daughter’s room which turned out beautifully thanks to the piece I bought from weeDECOR! We love it!”

The decorating project started when Audrey wanted a “big girl room” in her favorite shade of violet that could grow with her for several years. So, mom got to work with some super creative decorating ideas and lovely handmade finishing touches.

Mom shares, “The polka dot bedding set and curtains are made by JoJo Designs in the theme of ‘Mod Dots’ polka dot design in purple and brown. Most accessories including the lamp, pillow, purple finials and tie-backs, etc. are from Target’s Circo Collection.”

Now, here’s where mom’s creativity comes in to play. She explains, “The furniture is actually MY OWN childhood furniture purchased by my parents in 1977 which I lovingly refinished entirely in white – including new hardware, paint, etc. It was made by Bassett. The mirror over her dresser is an antique which used to be gold and I redid in a shabby/distressed white.”

We inquired about her lovely wall hangings and Mom divulged, “Yes, I actually made the picture frame collage / wall hanging myself comprised of Disney Princess pictures and a picture of my daughter dressed as Cinderella. The idea was that the wall hangings can grow with her and as she grows. For example, the princess photos will be changed out to pictures of her with friends, cheerleading, etc. I used violet, faux-leather in different lengths and secured them over a white wrought iron bar attached to violet faux-leather covered frames.”

“Lastly, the perfect accent paint we chose to compliment her décor was Valspar eggshell in “Purpling Dawn” that I purchased at Lowe’s. We topped it off with a white ceiling fan along with your BEAUTIFUL weeDecor polka dot personalized wall decal which matched the Mod Dots theme PERFECTLY and voila!

This mom-to-be in upstate NY is decorating for two as she eagerly awaits the arrival of her twin girls due in just a few weeks. This mom is on the ball!

We love how each baby girl’s crib is adorned with our personalized solo bird wall decal. Such playful wall decor that is perfect for two little girls. We can envision how these little birds will smile over her baby girls from their perch each and every night. Precious!

Mom’s purchased her white Baby Cache Essential Flat Lifetime cribs from Babies ‘r Us and they are oh-so-conveniently convertible.

With regard to decorating the rest of her twin’s baby room, Mom tells weeDECOR, “I wanted to keep the room color neutral with green and pink decorations, so I painted the walls creme and brown with a lighter transition color in the middle. The wall paint is Valspar Premium from Lowe’s.”  She hung our upside down monkey wall decal to add a touch of playful wall decor to the other side of the room, also very cute.

Her green polka dot blackout curtains are from Pottery Barn Kids. Her glider was given to her by a friend and she and her husband repainted the rocking chair that was at one point her husband’s baby chair. We love nostalgic baby decor, too!

Her changing table is from JCPenney in the color antique white. And, her green and white striped standing lamp is from Land of Nod. She also cleverly placed a 5 drawer chest in the closet to save space as she tells us, “I am lucky to have a big closet in my nursery”.

For moms who would like to keep their baby room simple yet chic, here’s a design approach that could definitely inspire you. We send out a big thanks to Liv’s mom for sending in photos of her baby girl’s nursery!

The central piece for mom in her baby’s room is her classic-styled, bright white crib from Babies R Us. The crib is such a stunning piece that it is easy to decorate around it.

First, to warm it up, mom gave it a splash of color by using a pale pink crib sheet perfect for baby girl Liv. She also chose a warm, but neutral shade of paint to highlight her crib and, of course, our wall decals. We love how the wall paint perfectly complements the nature wall decals? The eco-friendly baby room paint is Benjamin Moore’s “Montgomery White“.

On the left side of the crib, mom places a simple lamp from Bed Bath and Beyond, and hangs a cute pink bunny from it to give it a touch of playfulness. Peeking out from the other corner is this animal patterned crib bedding called “All Creatures Great and Small” from The Land of Nod. It’s gender-neutral so perfect for baby boys and girls.

Enriching the nature theme of the room, Liv’s mom makes use of our classic tree wall decal in mocha embellishing with blue and lavender bird wall decals and adorable pink owl wall decals. She applies her tree wall decal just beside the crib. You’ll also find our personalized owl wall decal perched quietly on the tree branch watching over baby Liv in her crib. With the same shade of pink, Liv’s mom used our classic type style to spell out Liv’s name – giving it that intimate, personalized look.

Other tree friends watch over Liv in the form of lavender birds, flying around, standing, and peeking over the crib. If you wanted to go a bit more “girly”, you could use butterfly wall decals instead of birds and even try some flower wall decals.

We love how this nature look with classic crib is so easy on the eyes, not to mention very relaxing. This theme is not only for baby girl rooms though – it can also be used for little boys’ rooms as well. Just play around the color shades and voila – a nature inspired nursery room for your little boy!

Brianna's Personalized Owl Wall Decor with Butterflies

How calming is it to be surrounded with colorful butterflies and flying little birds as if nestled in a serene, beautiful garden? This is exactly how we felt the moment we saw Brianna’s nursery – thanks to our mom from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Brianna’s mom used our classic tree wall decal in rich chocolate brown as the highlight of her nursery and placed it just over the changing table providing the nice illusion of nature and sitting under a tree. Our standing bird wall decals in yellow and purple were also used to complete the visual, painting an inanimate picture of a beautiful garden on a nice day.

To further accessorize the tree, Brianna’s mom added weeDECOR’s owl wall decals in purple perfectly complementing the wall paint of the nursery. The two-toned wall paint in pale pink and lavender in harmony with the purple owl wall decals set the cozy and serene ambiance of Brianna’s nursery. The paint is from Disney’s line at Home Depot (“Hopeful” and “One Enchanted Evening”).

Embellishing the theme of Brianna’s nursery are our heart butterfly wall decals in pink. Like a mom’s abundant love for her child, this San Francisco mom filled her baby’s walls with heart-shaped butterflies in pale pink and green accents, bringing nature to the baby’s room.

Watching over Brianna’s crib is our personalized owl wall decal in pale pink with classic type style. The owl sits perfectly still in a tree branch surrounded with birds and butterflies overlooking the crib.

The crib bedding, the pretty polka dot rug and the clock used to accessorize the nursery were all from Pottery Barn Kids while the chair is from Babies r Us – all perfectly color coordinated to match and complement each other. And, mom added cherry wood furniture from Costco to give balance to the softer colors in the room.
