Bria’s nursery is perfectly pretty in pink featuring our octopus wall decal, our sea turtle wall decal, fish wall decals, and mama and baby whale wall decals. We’re also loving that precious sea turtle pillow accenting the nursing rocker and the bright pink curtains adorning the window. Bria Grace is spelled with our smiley wall decal letters to add that personal touch to this baby girl ocean themed nursery.

Baby boy Sam also has a fabulous ocean themed baby room. Bold navy blues, bright greens, and fresh orange and yellow pop off the light blue painted walls above the white wainscoting. The drapery is also fabulous in this room as sea creatures dance across the top on a valence. And, note the whale wall decal on top of the white toy box – extra cute! Sam’s room is adorned with weeDECOR’s Under the Sea Wall Decal Mural featuring all of your favorite sea critters that can be arranged on the wall to your liking.

Sam’s mom tells us, “We love your decals. This is the second time I have used them and I will definitely use them again!”.

We are so glad!

This mom has decorated her baby boy’s room with our Personalized Owl Wall Decal in an array of blues and greens. The Dwell Studio bedding promotes a modern design aesthetic along with the white modern crib. We love how the green rug makes you feel like you are outside yet still within the comforts of your own home.

This mom chose a less traditional color palette to offset her more traditional espresso colored crib. Our Personalized Solo Owl Wall Decal in orange pops against the crib and off of a neutral painted wall.

Finally, this mom chose our Personalized Happy Owls in bright pink and our smiley font – which comes with cute hearts to dot the I’s “Olivia”. We are a big fan of putting the branch in a corner so that it looks as if it is growing out of the wall and hanging softly above a changing table or other piece of nursery furniture.

Oh! The Places Baby Will Dream of Going in His Travel Themed Nursery

Travel has always served as a source of inspiration for those of us at weeDECOR. And, our love of travel is reflected in the designs we offer. Of course, we’re not the only ones who want to pass our love of travel onto our children. Check out these travel inspired baby rooms designed by moms and moms-to-be like you!

Mom and photographer Kristine Neely was inspired by the Dr. Seuss book “Oh The Places You’ll Go”.  And, what an inspiration it is! The soft blue paint tone (Benjamin Moore’s Waterfall) make you feel as if you could be in a plane to anywhere traveling across a pale blue sky. We love the vintage suitcases that serve as a nightstand and the map and globe accents around the room. Breathtaking!

Speaking of vintage, Kristine also photographed this vintage airplane nursery in NYC. Dark wood furniture brings that more classic vintage feel along with vintage model airplanes used as accents. We like how cleverly a vintage airplane duvet cover was turned into curtains and how vintage postcards were pinned on a board to create a stunning collage.

For a more modern look, we found this travel themed nursery in aqua and orange on theBump. The blow-up globes are a creative way to bring in themed décor that is both functional and delightful. For a touch of nostalgia, one wall is a collage of maps of places the couple had traveled to and countries from which their ancestors came.

For wall accent ideas, consider weeDECOR wall decals. We have planes, trains, cars, boats, hot air balloons, space ships, and just about any other mode of transport you can think of.

We go Bah-Bah over Sheep Nursery Décor

One of the sweetest classic themes in nursery décor is the quintessential little lamb. So classic. So perfect for your little one. We just couldn’t help taking notice of so many beautiful baby nurseries incorporating this theme!

Aside from being simple and sweet, we appreciate the gender and color neutrality the sheep design element brings to a baby’s room. Since most sheep come in white, you can add almost any accent color of your liking.

For example, see this lovely grey and white sheep themed nursery designed for Charlotte in Austin, TX. The rich, elegant furnishings from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child bring a classic touch to a relatively modern color scheme.

For a bolder look, consider black and white sheep décor as highlighted by Joni Lay on BHG.com. Bold, black accents such as the lamp and dresser shown in this inspiration board can make quite an impact. And, babies are attracted to high contrast colors which make this nursery that much more attractive.

For a softer, more classic look, see how entertaining and lifestyle expert Jenny Steffens Hobick used pale blue and classic lamb décor from Pottery Barn Kids to decorate her lamb themed baby room. We especially like the lamb rocker—just darling!

And, weeDECOR has several sheep wall decal designs to help augment your nursery décor. Our jumping sheep wall decal has three little sheep jumping over fences onto blades of grass. We also have a personalized sheep decal to make your baby’s nursery feel even more unique.

Pretty Polka Dot Décor for a Baby Room

Oh, the fun of polka dot décor! There are so many ways to decorate with polka dots as they can be used in the design of a boy’s or girl’s room—or, if baby’s gender is a surprise, they can work for a gender neutral look, too.

Polka Dot Nursery - hus&hem

Have twins? We’re loving this gender neutral nursery with confetti style polka dots sprinkled on the wall. The fun color combo of aqua, red, and yellow makes the look that much more festive. The red and white striped curtains add to the charm as do the animals in the crib and the ball on the floor. We can’t help but think “circus” when seeing this room.

If red has caught your eye as well, check out this bold red, yellow, and grey polka dot bedding set from our favorite fashion forward, big-box retailer Target. Also incorporating the confetti style, you need little other décor in the room with this bedding set as it is such a stand out.

Note that your polka dot décor doesn’t need to have all of the same sized dots. See how this mom used weeDECOR polka dot wall decals to design a one-of-a-kind ceiling border. The lime green, orange, brown and yellow color palette in conjunction with different arrangements of circles and dots lends itself to a fresh, cheery look.

In considering polka dots as decorative accents, DIYers can rejoice in a fun wall art project using a simple pencil eraser and colored ink. See Carla Liu’s blog to see how to create designs. This also looks like a fun project in which to get your toddler involved in the decorating fun.
