This mom added a special touch to her son's nursery with this personalized owl wall sticker.

Kellen’s mom is a great example of someone who went all “owt” with her nursery decor in this owl-themed room. The nature wall decal mural by the changing table is perfectly placed, allowing her little one to have something beautiful and intriguing to look at during all of those diaper changes. Two happy owls perch on graceful tree branches while some birds in flight make their way to a peaceful resting spot. There’s plenty of room for all sorts of friends on that towering tree!

Across the room, Kellen’s mom made his space personal and unique with our personalized owl wall sticker in pale blue. The colors look absolutely gorgeous and complement the other design elements so well! Mom found the super-fun rug at www.rugsusa.com and it’s only a matter of time before little Kellen starts to pitter patter from dot to dot. Mom kept the owl theme going in the crib with some adorable crib bedding by Dwell (one of our favorite designers of modern, fabulous nursery bedding).

So that other areas of the room didn’t feel left out, Kellen’s mom added some of the pieces from the nature wall decal mural to other walls. A single, sweet bird at the end of the crib watches over little Kellen when he sleeps, and yet another uses the photo collage as a landing place.

This room is such a fantastic example of a mom that uses the versatility of our designs in unexpected ways. She sticks to her chosen theme without overdoing it. Great job, mom!

This Quebec mom embellishes her kids’ walls with several different weeDECOR wall stickers, using color and birds to pull it all together. Aiden and Zachary share a room, but each sweet boy gets his own personal space thanks to the personalized dot arch wall decal over each bed. These wall stickers really make a statement and leave nothing to chance as to who sleeps where!

The bold, bright colors of this personalized solo owl wall sticker add just the right punch of color to Connor’s nursery. A sweet, solitary owl sits contentedly on the graceful arm of a tree and keeps a close eye on this baby boy. A Philadelphia mom found the perfect accent to her nursery with our sleeping owls wall decal. The browns and greens in this design look fantastic against the wall color. This mom used Valspar’s Betsy Ross House Moss as a great neutral color for the room. The dark walnut color in Graco’s Lauren Changing Table looks so rich against the muted walls. Unlike some of the other owls seen above, this group is fast asleep on a tree branch. It’s hard work being so adorable!

Clever Storage Solutions in an Aqua Baby Room

Sometimes, you look at a room and are in awe of the creativity of the designer. We think this aqua and yellow nursery is one of those rooms. We were delighted to help this Canadian mom decorate her baby room and were even more delighted that she was willing to share her decorating secrets with our readers. She told us, “I would LOVE if you could include my nursery pictures on your blog…the blog was SO helpful to me when I was deciding how to design my space. I would love to be a part of it!” We’re so glad! Now, on to mom’s secrets…

She shares, “Since I didn’t know the gender of the baby, I had to stick with a gender neutral theme so I thought the tree wall decal with the owls would be appropriate. The paint color on the walls is Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue and the ceiling is painted a light sunshine yellow color, Benjamin Moore Vellum.”

She further describes, “The baby bedding is from a company called Sweet Kyla and is called ‘Cabana’. The crib is a Stork craft crib (Madison Stages) and I decided to paint the front of the drawers on the change table the same color as the walls.” We love those drawers!

“The dresser was my baby dresser, so it’s over 30 years old.  It was refinished and painted white and the drawers, too, were also painted the same color as the walls.  I added crystal knobs to the dresser as well as change table drawer,” she finishes.

Finally, mom says, “I wanted to thank you for your helpfulness and professionalism. My husband and I LOVE the wall decals and we loved putting them together. I will certainly recommend your company to my family and friends. It was a great experience!”

We couldn’t be more pleased with the results ourselves.

This gorgeous pink owl themed nursery featuring weeDECOR eco-friendly wall decals was designed involving the creativity of the whole family. How fun!

The family started with neutral wall paint called “Coconut Milk” by Valspar (sold at Lowe’s). The neutral color helped set the stage for the gorgeous collection of pink, brown, and white colors and the variety of textures used in the room.

Mom then purchased the charmingly simple Kendall crib from Pottery Barn Kids. She made the baby bedding including the bumper, crib skirt and blankets from fabric purchased at JoAnn Fabrics. She chose a combination of flannel, chenille, and minky fabrics to add extra texture and softness. Dad and grandpa made the leaning white shelves, an addition to the room that will serve both form and function with cute pink storage baskets and other decorative accents.

The pink owl pillow peeking out from within the crib and the luscious bubble gum area rug underfoot add delicious color and fun.

The brown recliner-rocker is from La-Z-Boy (called “Pinnacle”) and is made of dark brown leather. This helps bring some gravity to the nursery and pulls together the browns from the bedding and the owl wall decals.

Speaking of owl wall stickers, mom decorated her baby room walls with our modern owl, our polka dot owl, and our girl owl wall decal in shades of pale pink, bright pink, and brown. She purchased the white tree from Modern Wall Graphics.

And, for cute owl décor on a wall shelf we love these adorable paper owls. These paper owls are designed by Mibo, a UK design outlet that also has fabulous lamp shades, throw pillows, and wallpaper. Their paper owls are available via a downloadable/print-at-home-able kit (once you pay, you are sent a pdf file with four owl paper templates and instructions) and are a cheap and cheerful way to get very cute owl decor.

Owls are a very popular theme in modern nursery decorating and we love the idea of owl wall decor. Pink Owl as a Girl Baby Nursery Decal for the Wall

Makes you want to practice your owl calling, doesn’t it?  We found this stylish baby nursery decal on etsy designed by Leen the Graphics Queen.  Although the decal can be made in different colors, we love this pink and green color contrast – perfect for a baby girl’s room.  We especially like the behind-the-ear flower sticker – a subtle, but eye-catching touch.

Use this wall decal to create a nursery mural nature theme.  Leen the Graphics Queen also has some lovely tree wall decals and other animals (her bird wall decals are particularly cute) to build out your design.

If you are less inclined to design your own wall mural, consider using the owl as a wall decor element above the baby’s changing table.

This owl wall decal is 22″ high and 32″ sells for $32.  Leen says you can choose from a variety of colors.
