This mom added a special touch to her son's nursery with this personalized owl wall sticker.

Kellen’s mom is a great example of someone who went all “owt” with her nursery decor in this owl-themed room. The nature wall decal mural by the changing table is perfectly placed, allowing her little one to have something beautiful and intriguing to look at during all of those diaper changes. Two happy owls perch on graceful tree branches while some birds in flight make their way to a peaceful resting spot. There’s plenty of room for all sorts of friends on that towering tree!

Across the room, Kellen’s mom made his space personal and unique with our personalized owl wall sticker in pale blue. The colors look absolutely gorgeous and complement the other design elements so well! Mom found the super-fun rug at www.rugsusa.com and it’s only a matter of time before little Kellen starts to pitter patter from dot to dot. Mom kept the owl theme going in the crib with some adorable crib bedding by Dwell (one of our favorite designers of modern, fabulous nursery bedding).

So that other areas of the room didn’t feel left out, Kellen’s mom added some of the pieces from the nature wall decal mural to other walls. A single, sweet bird at the end of the crib watches over little Kellen when he sleeps, and yet another uses the photo collage as a landing place.

This room is such a fantastic example of a mom that uses the versatility of our designs in unexpected ways. She sticks to her chosen theme without overdoing it. Great job, mom!

weeDECOR's wall stickers make this room twice as nice!

This Quebec mom embellishes her kids’ walls with several different weeDECOR wall stickers, using color and birds to pull it all together. Aiden and Zachary share a room, but each sweet boy gets his own personal space thanks to the personalized dot arch wall decal over each bed. These wall stickers really make a statement and leave nothing to chance as to who sleeps where!

We love how this mom incorporated birds into the room with two distinct, fabulous designs. On the left, the bird branch wall decal in yellow is a cheerful, charming addition to Zachary’s side of the room. We’re sure Aiden delights in gazing up at the owl branch wall decal that hangs over his bed. What an adorable, fun room! Thanks for sharing, mom!

This mom makes Connor's space his very own with our personalized solo owl wall sticker.

The bold, bright colors of this personalized solo owl wall sticker add just the right punch of color to Connor’s nursery. A sweet, solitary owl sits contentedly on the graceful arm of a tree and keeps a close eye on this baby boy. This particular design comes in several different colors so you are sure to find a good fit for your nursery. This New York City mom selected navy/pale blue…just perfect for a little boy! She further customized her design by spelling out Connor’s name with our “Smiley” type style. We hope this personalized wall decal makes Connor and his parents smile right along with those letters! We love it!

A too-cute trio of owls takes a little break.

A Philadelphia mom found the perfect accent to her nursery with our sleeping owls wall decal. The browns and greens in this design look fantastic against the wall color. This mom used Valspar’s Betsy Ross House Moss as a great neutral color for the room. The dark walnut color in Graco’s Lauren Changing Table looks so rich against the muted walls. Unlike some of the other owls seen above, this group is fast asleep on a tree branch. It’s hard work being so adorable!

weeDECOR offers a huge variety of owl wall stickers in our collection. You’ll find owls in branches, owls in trees, and all-alone owls to adorn the walls of your nursery or kid’s room. If you’re looking for more ideas as to how to incorporate owls into your nursery or kid’s room decor, see these customer photos.

Stop and take a quick peek at this little boy’s room featuring our car wall decals. Thanks to this California mom, you can see how cute our car wall decal mural looks arranged as a wall border above her beautiful white wainscoting. Atop Behr Ultra wall paint in Russian Blue sit our wall decals including cars, firetrucks, taxis and stop signs and yield signs along a road making their way across town.

To decorate the rest of her boy’s room, Mom chose her madras curtains, quilt, and large square pillows from Pottery Barn Kids. Her striped sheets are Target’s Circo transportation pattern and she added a burst of red with a red duvet cover from Ikea. We love the touch of the duvet as it provides a solid visual grounding that pulls the red in from other parts of room to create cohesiveness. This is a clever way to bring together patterns like the madras and stripes in the little boy’s room.

Designing an alphabet themed nursery is almost as easy as 1-2-3, or make that a-b-c. See a few of our favorites to get decorating ideas for colors, styles, and coordinating accessories for the a-b-c baby room of your d-r-e-a-m-s.

We love this chocolate brown and pink alphabet themed baby room with a ceiling alphabet border. This creative mom designed and created the wall décor herself with the goal of using her alphabet décor as a learning tool for when baby girl Sophia is older. We love how she included the the circle motif which adds just the right touch of whimsy to the room and softens the lines of the border. And, those pale pink drapes are stunning!

Another creative way to use the alphabet motif in your nursery decorating is to to apply an alphabet border above a chair rail like this Rate-My-Space mom did in her baby boy’s blue and green nursery. She found these animal cards, which spurred her creative juices. She painted the blue and green stripes and then installed a chair rail upon which the animal parade could prance along the wall. So cute!  We also love the blue drawer knobs which help pull the striking blue, green, and white color palette together.

This orange and white nursery designed by Johann Gomez delivers a lot of “wow”. We love the retro colors of this orange and white, vintage alphabet nursery and the soft curves of the vintage décor. John created an alphabet wall mural with gorgeously ornate frames that work perfectly with the clean lines of baby’s modern white crib and a plush shag rug. See Design Sponge for other views of the room which are even more inspiring.

Finally, for apartment dwellers and other nursery decorators looking to keep it easy, a simple piece of alphabet wall art sitting on a shelf may be the perfect way to incorporate an alphabet theme into your nursery design. Though shown with pink bedding, this nursery can easily be made gender neutral due to its stylishly simple touches. This San Francisco mom used a color palette of soft greys, yellows, and creams which is perfect for a light feeling baby room that works on its own or to which you can add bold accents for more pop. See Project Nursery for more details on the nursery design.

Texture, texture, texture! Decorating with texture is a simple way to add depth and vibrancy to your baby nursery decor like no other decorating technique can. How to decorate with texture you may ask?  No need to complicate matters. Find a few fun nursery accents that are “3D” in nature and that should do it. See a few of our favorite decorating with texture finds below.

Japanese lanterns and, more recently, ceiling pom poms are a fresh way to add texture to your baby room by way of gorgeously vibrant hangings. Poms are made of tissue paper and you can purchase them in craft stores or online including Martha Stewart Crafts. We not only love the whimsical look, but also the multitude of colors available. They are light and airy, yet structured enough to deliver compelling visuals.

We found this gorgeous custom blue-green textured baby bedding set which was the vision of this brilliant design-minded Rate-My-Space mom. Her embroiderer liked it so much that the set can now be purchased at Once Upon a Time in Birmingham, AL. (Note that the lovely blue-green paint in the nursery is Sherwin Williams “Quietude”). Using poms in a different way, note how little blue and green poms were sewn on the crib bumper and finished off with ribbons with slightly frayed edges. This techniques brings life to a baby bumper that makes it look like no other.

For pink “pop”, we adore this flourishing pink rose throw pillow designed by Etsy seller “bedbuggs“. Perfect to accent your glider, we love how the flower petals are piled on top of one another to bring the flower to life in a way that only texture can bring.

Finally, this simple yellow diamond crocheted throw blanket looks stunning against this white and yellow baby crib bedding set and light turquoise wall paint in the baby nursery decorated by Megan of Me&Wee. So chic. So modern. We “heart” it!
