Take a look at how this creative Missouri mom decorated her baby girl’s nursery with our pink nature mural wall decals? This is one clever mom!
She used our classic tree wall decal to create a branch over the mantle in her baby’s nursery and added our large pink owl wall decal, pink standing bird wall decal, and flying bird wall decal as accents. Why didn’t we think of that?
She tells us, “between the mantle and the wall there's a big window with a view of a big walnut tree so it's like a huge expanse of real and imagined greenery! I am going to put a flokati rug below the tree so it's grass-like to create a little hidden corner in the room”.
She further says, “I love the decals, as I'm averse to putting lots of holes in the plaster walls in our house. We used decals in this same room for our son, who's now 4 years old. Rather than spackling and repainting, all we had to do was peel off the old decals and put up the new ones…it saves so much time and hassle. When our baby girl grows out of these, we'll do the same routine again.”
We love the look of our wall decals in this nursery. But, we cannot deny that they look so beautiful because they are surrounded by our Missouri mom’s chic style. We love how she painted her baby girl’s room in soft yellow and the molding and trim are highlighted in white. Her choice of similarly toned pastel accents – a pink floral table lamp with gorgeous texture, a pale blue glider and ottoman, and a cute little frog blanket draping over the chair – bring both diverse color and cohesiveness to the nursery. The fireplace and mantel are an interior designer's dream as they add character and visual interest that is difficult to replicate. And, the addition of a sumptuous flokati rug will be the perfect finishing touch. What a lucky baby girl!
