We love how mom arranged these jungle wall decals as an animal parade along her baseboard. The hippo leads the way followed by our modern elephant, turtle, lion, alligator, and giraffe, interspersed with jungle-green bushes and palm trees. Mom tells weeDECOR, “I love the way these safari wall decals look in my baby's room, and she loves crawling over to them to touch them.  I use them to teach her about different animal names.” When it came to planning her nursery décor mom tells us, “I had bought a polka-dot blanket and an alphabet-themed quilt shown at the foot of her crib before she was born a year ago. I wanted to coordinate with the decals and the paint, so I held the decals up to the various colors on the blankets to see what paint would look best. There were two colors that looked nice - a peachy color and the light blue that we used.  I decided that the peach was a bit too risky for me if I didn't like the way it looked. So, I chose a blue that was a pretty, calming color.” Once finished painting, mom found a jungle-themed switch plate and night light to go with the wall decals. Mom also used a butter yellow crib skirt and delicate, sheer white curtains to bring softness to her baby girl’s room. Thanks, Michigan mom, for sending in your photos.
