St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner and we are getting our green on with these inspiring green baby nurseries designed by some talented Rate-My-Space-ers. Green is one the most popular colors in nursery decorating and it's no surprise why. The versatility and beauty of green in interior design is hard to overlook. Whether modern or classic, pale green or bright green, these green nurseries will make you smile and give you some great decorating ideas using green.
We love modern style with a classic twist. Designed by Tori Swaim, designer and owner of New Arrivals, Inc., this modern green nursery with green damask wallpaper print from York Wallcoverings is an example of this. This show-stopper juxtaposes gorgeous, intricate green damask wallpaper against charmingly simple white furnishings and baby furniture. The crib is from Million Dollar Baby, the bookshelf from Ikea, and the green baby bedding from New Arrivals Inc.
We are also keen on this pale green painted classic nursery by Ritzler. Sweet stuffed bears adorn the room and a big bay window let’s the sunlight stream in creating warmth in the baby's room. Highlighted with white and butter yellow accents, the pale green paint is offset perfectly. Called "Absinthe Mist" by Valspar Kid’s Zone, the paint is in a satin finish and the cool green tone envelopes the room like a baby blanket.
Finally, a lucky little girl sleeps in this bright lime green nursery with hot pink accents. The lime green paint is called “Temptation” from Lowe’s. Mia’s mom’s got every detail covered from perfect lime green and pink drawer knobs, gorgeous bright pink light fixtures, eye-catching storage solutions using pink and green gingham prints, and pink window treatments that make us green with envy. We encourage to peruse all her photos at Mia’s Nursery.
