Light It Up with Inspiring Nursery Lighting

Lighting can be an easy way to add a bit of pizzazz to your nursery or kid’s room. We are big fans of lanterns which not only serve a functional purpose of light, but add a festive look to any room. The beautiful spheres add billowy playfulness to the room that is difficult to do with other types of décor. Paper lanterns come in so many shapes and colors that it is easy to find a combination that suits your fancy. Let your creativity guide you! The delicate glass beads would look just gorgeous hanging in the center of a room and they would glisten with perfection at the hint of sun or moonlight. Since this light is made of glass it would work with any color scheme you choose. If you’re looking for something different, get inspired by this nursery designed by Calgary designer Alykhan Velji. He is the creative genius behind this “wow” nursery and the use of a warehouse lamp to add delight to the room. You might be able to find something similar at your local antique store. While we’re at it, we also love the use of a non-traditional color palette of white, grey, and yellow. Not only does it have a great price ($29.99), the design is such that it would work in a variety of styled rooms.
