Pretty Pink Fabrics for the Nursery June 08 2013weeDECOR designer Stacy Iest Hsu is known not only for the fabulous designs she's created for weeDECOR wall decals, but for her fabric designs as well. See her collection on Spoonflower to see more of her inspiring collection. We've chosen a few of our favorites to feature in our pretty pink nursery fabric post which we think you will agree is well beyond the traditional pretty in pink baby room look. We love this festive pink pattern, particularly whimiscal pink pattern for a throw pillow or quilt blocks. Celery green, watermelon pink, pale pink, peach, and grey create a collage of colors that can add delight to a nursery with any of the aforementioned base colors. For example, if you paint your walls pale pink, this pattern could bring a burst of color to the room. Likewise, if you paint it light grey, you'll see similar results. Grey is the new brown when it comes to pairing pink with a neutral color in your baby girl's nursery. This grey fabric with pink and white flowers can bring a more classic feel to a modern grey. We can envision this fabric If playful is your style, this little piggy nursery fabric is too cute to pass up if you are decorating a piglet themed baby nursery. Details such as a helicopter hat for the little boy pig, a mommy pig pushing a baby piglet in a vintage baby stroller, and a girl pig holding a green umbrella are too cute to pass up. Inspired by pom poms, this precious pastel pink and white pattern of dots and heart pom poms called Funny Bunny Pom Pom Pink will make any little girl's heart sing. We like this pattern for baby bedding for a traditional girl's nursery accented with white ribbons For more ideas on decorating your nursery with cute fabrics, see our other articles: Cute Safari Baby Room Fabrics and More Nature Themed Nursery Fabrics Bird Themed Baby Room Fabrics
Wow! Loving this Unique Nursery Shelving Idea May 09 2013[caption id="attachment_4957" align="aligncenter" width="512" caption="Loving This Unique Nursery Storage Idea"][/caption] This combination of nursery shelves as a way to create a decorative wall piece and serve as a functional storage solution is simply too beautiful not to share. Simply Yvonne provides a stunning view of these cute shelves in her baby's nursery and we're oh-so-glad she did! A yellow-green tinged wall paint provides a neutral background for the bright white shelves, perfectly spaced to create a delightful montage of baby related eye-candy. Each of the gorgeous little dresses in and of themselves create visual interest, let alone the collection of frames and stuffed animals along the shelves. Your eyes catch sight of the gorgeous photography of her little one and the related mementos. Books, standing picture frames, a piggy bank and more make each shelf that much more interesting. We also love the lime green Japanese lantern peeking out from the ceiling above. If you have a small space or your baby's room lacks a closet, this is a great way to improvise without sacrificing any aesthetic. Thanks for the idea, Simply Yvonne! Our Picks for Cute Big Kid Beds May 06 2013Transitioning your toddler to a big kid bed is a momentous occasion. So, why not make the experience more fun and exciting for your little one (and for you) with these creative takes on a toddler bed. For high style, modern design, consider this white toddler bed from Oeuf. The sleek lines scream contemporary décor and you can choose from a lighter birch or darker walnut wood finish depending on your taste. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="473" caption="Toddler Bed - Oeuf"][/caption] For a touch more fun, see this modern toddler bed from Rafa Kids. The wheels add an extra touch of fun as your toddler can imagine sleeping in a bed shaped like a car and practical as they make moving the bed around the room easier. For a vintage look, this crib converted to a toddler bed or day bed is particularly unique when a canopy is added. We are in love with the red and white polka dot schematic that adds a festive look to the décor. Add other bright colors like pink and yellow and polka dot wall decals to turn your room into confetti-filled fun. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="461" caption="Crib Canopy - Johanna Vintage"][/caption] While we’re on the topic on vintage take a peek at this toddler bed from a photo taken by Johan Lindberg. This retro big kid’s bed is offset by an eclectic mix of décor including rattan baskets for storage, classic steps stools for play, and modern wall art adorning the room. The bright, solid yellow carpet pulls everything together nicely. We go Bah-Bah over Sheep Nursery Décor April 19 2013One of the sweetest classic themes in nursery décor is the quintessential little lamb. So classic. So perfect for your little one. We just couldn’t help taking notice of so many beautiful baby nurseries incorporating this theme! Aside from being simple and sweet, we appreciate the gender and color neutrality the sheep design element brings to a baby’s room. Since most sheep come in white, you can add almost any accent color of your liking. For example, see this lovely grey and white sheep themed nursery designed for Charlotte in Austin, TX. The rich, elegant furnishings from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child bring a classic touch to a relatively modern color scheme. For a bolder look, consider black and white sheep décor as highlighted by Joni Lay on BHG.com. Bold, black accents such as the lamp and dresser shown in this inspiration board can make quite an impact. And, babies are attracted to high contrast colors which make this nursery that much more attractive. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="480" caption="Baa Baa Black Sheep - Better Homes & Gardens"][/caption] For a softer, more classic look, see how entertaining and lifestyle expert Jenny Steffens Hobick used pale blue and classic lamb décor from Pottery Barn Kids to decorate her lamb themed baby room. We especially like the lamb rocker—just darling! [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="483" caption="Emma's Nursery - Jenny Steffens Hobick"][/caption] And, weeDECOR has several sheep wall decal designs to help augment your nursery décor. Our jumping sheep wall decal has three little sheep jumping over fences onto blades of grass. We also have a personalized sheep decal to make your baby’s nursery feel even more unique. Light It Up with Inspiring Nursery Lighting March 24 2013Lighting can be an easy way to add a bit of pizzazz to your nursery or kid’s room. We are big fans of lanterns which not only serve a functional purpose of light, but add a festive look to any room. The beautiful spheres add billowy playfulness to the room that is difficult to do with other types of décor. Paper lanterns come in so many shapes and colors that it is easy to find a combination that suits your fancy. Let your creativity guide you! [caption id="attachment_5046" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Natural Pendant Nursery Light"][/caption] We found this regal-looking chandelier at Land of Nod—perfect for your little princess. The delicate glass beads would look just gorgeous hanging in the center of a room and they would glisten with perfection at the hint of sun or moonlight. Since this light is made of glass it would work with any color scheme you choose. If you’re looking for something different, get inspired by this nursery designed by Calgary designer Alykhan Velji. He is the creative genius behind this “wow” nursery and the use of a warehouse lamp to add delight to the room. You might be able to find something similar at your local antique store. While we’re at it, we also love the use of a non-traditional color palette of white, grey, and yellow. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="502" caption="Porcelain Stem Light - Benjamin Dino "][/caption] And if you’d like to keep it low key, we like this simple, neutral pendant light from Ikea. Not only does it have a great price ($29.99), the design is such that it would work in a variety of styled rooms. New Trend Old Tradition: Handmade Dolls March 18 2013For those moms longing for the simplicity of times long ago, consider bringing back handmade dolls. We’ve seen so many darling designs as of late. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="480" caption="Apple of My Eye Organic Modern Doll - Petit Collage"][/caption] San Francisco based Petit Collage has a 100% organic cotton and wool felt modern rag doll. This cutie called “Apple of My Eye”, would look lovely on a little girl’s bed. We love the bright green and red color combo, too. You can always count on Etsy when it comes to gorgeous handmade goods. Jane Foster Designs, based in the UK has created a DIY package where you can make your own screen printed fabric doll. She sends you all the materials and you are good to go. For something a bit more classic, see Canadian Les Petites Mains handmade tag dolls. This doll looks so elegant with her slim arms and legs reminding us of a dancer. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="456" caption="Louise Soft Handmade Doll - Les Petites Mains"][/caption] The handmade doll trend does not have to be limited to little girls. These cute animal dolls by Etsy seller Sleepy King are just adorable. Choose from squirrels, bunnies, dachshunds, and more. Your little boy is sure to appreciate a friend with which to cuddle. And, Mr. Pennyapple, sold by Etsy seller PiggyHatesPanda in Santa Cruz, CA, is a customizable doll with beautiful hand embroidered details. He is also a great option for your little boy. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="456" caption="Goldie the Handmade Dachshund - Sleepy King"][/caption] And, if you are considering a doll theme for your little one’s room, see weeDECOR’s selection of princess wall decals for girls and knight wall decals for boys to bring the doll theme alive on your walls.

Bring the Chic with Chevron in your Baby Nursery January 26 2012 1 CommentI think we owe Missoni and Target a big "Thank You" for reminding all of us about the fabulousness that chevron has to offer in attire and decor. A little bold, a little zany, and totally unexpected, this print is popping up here, there, and everywhere thanks to a popularity boost of late. We've found some cute and creative ideas for moms and dads who wish to indulge in this latest trend. [caption id="attachment_4763" align="alignnone" width="540" caption="Of-the-moment color combination plus of-the-moment print = one gorgeous nursery"][/caption] Let's start with the walls, shall we? Two great trends come together in this gorgeous nursery. The choice of grey and white for the walls somehow manages to make the chevron print look more understated because it allows the yellow to truly stand out. We love that this mom and dad decided to go chevron on one wall only. It keeps the project manageable it you're a do-it-yourselfer. There is something about that buttery yellow that softens the crisp lines of the chevron print. We're swooning over here! [caption id="attachment_4764" align="alignnone" width="507" caption="Chevron in the Crib"][/caption] Here is another great example of a grey/yellow/white that incorporates chevron prints. This look is slightly more subtle, as the bold print is kept to the bedding only and the rest of the decor is clean and simple. The crib becomes a stunning focal point of this room, and it certainly deserves the spotlight! This crib bedding by Carousel Designs is absolutely adorable, and the trim on the crib skirt is the icing on the cake. [caption id="attachment_4765" align="alignnone" width="507" caption="Chevron is the perfect backdrop for these cute critters."][/caption] Thinking of an animal-themed nursery? This wall decor we found on Etsy would make such a fabulous addition to your wee one's room. Cute little critters seem to leap from a chevron background, and the color combinations are just perfect. Lined up above the crib, what baby wouldn't want to gaze up at these fun prints? This is an easy, affordable way to add chevron to your nursery. [caption id="attachment_4766" align="alignnone" width="540" caption="Make a statement with a chevron rug"][/caption] Can't forget the floors, can we? If you're looking to add some drama to your nursery or kid's room, this fun and funky rug might be the perfect find for you! The colors in this room are absolutely stunning. Who would have ever thought that a palette of turquoise, green, black, and white would produce such gorgeous results? The modern feel of the design elements here is the thread that ties all of the pieces together, and no individual piece seems to scream, "Look at me!" This room is the embodiment of harmonious design. [caption id="attachment_4767" align="alignnone" width="507" caption="Interesting colors, interesting prints"][/caption] Here is another fabulous example of a unique color combination coupled with beautiful prints. This mom and dad opted for a kinder, gentler chevron rug. White and pale aqua take turns making their way from top to bottom and the overall look is borderline subtle. Toss is some bright, contrasting colors via linens and wall decor and you have an amazing nursery that has it all! Love this! [caption id="attachment_4768" align="alignnone" width="507" caption="Outfit your wee one in chevron."][/caption] Still hesitant about chevron? We know, we know. It's bold, it can be wild, it's not for everyone. If you can't commit to the use of chevron in your nursery decor, how about a sleeper? Your little one will look absolutely fabulous in this chevron one-piece. Still not sold on chevron after a month or two? No worries, your baby will outgrow it before you can possibly tire of such a fun print. We have so many ideas of both contemporary and traditional nursery decor on our blog. If you are looking for fabulous wall decals to accent the walls of your nursery or kid's room, heck out all that weeDECOR has to offer. For even more design inspiration, visit our Pinterest boards and prepare to be overloaded with fabulous ideas for your nursery or kid's room.
weeDECOR's Top Nursery Decorating Trends of 2011 December 25 2011Curious? We were, too! So we tracked down the top trends in nursery decorating for 2011. See what we've found! 5. Minimalism [caption id="attachment_4740" align="alignnone" width="507" caption="This mom and dad create a simple and serene space for their little one."][/caption] A long-time favorite of urban dwellers, minimalistic décor has made its way to nurseries across the US. We’ve seen some absolutely stunning kids’ rooms that scream “serenity.” While minimalistic design may seem easy (just pick one or two things and keep it simple), it actually requires more thought, more research, and more precision. Parents who use this approach to nursery décor must pick from what can be an overwhelming amount of products in an effort to find that one piece of art, that one wall decal, that one piece of furniture to serve as the statement piece for the room. We all know how easy it is to get sucked into the 12-piece nursery bedding set! With a valance! And blanket! And nightlight! And rug! And drawer pulls! And on and on! By paring down to the basic essentials, accenting with one or two design elements and creatively using color, parents are creating refined, sophisticated nurseries for their babies. We particularly like this minimalist nursery we found on ChicCheapNursery. 4. Begging, Borrowing, & Stealing The popularity of Pinterest has absolutely exploded in 2011! This social discovery platform now boasts up to 3 million users, and once you spend an hour (or six!) on the site, it’s easy to see why people are gravitating to pinterest for design inspiration. Moms everywhere are able to “beg” for feedback, “borrow” a concept and modify it to make it their own, and “steal” creative and unique ideas of other crafty parents when designing their nurseries. Pinterest gives parents access to a world of clever, beautiful, and sometimes profound collections of images and tutorials. While you’re on the hunt, visit weeDECOR’s pinterest page to see some of our favorite finds. 3. Form, meet Function in these Darling Nightlights [caption id="attachment_4741" align="alignnone" width="277" caption="This tabletop giraffe nightlight would look fabulous in an animal-themed nursery."][/caption] Nursery nighlights are a must for new parents! There is no better way to avoid fumbling around blindly for the burp cloth while keeping things on the dark side so that baby is compelled to go back to sleep after the feeding. This year, we have come across some absolutely adorable nightlights for nurseries. Gone are the days of the pitiful little plastic piece with exposed light bulb that is relegated to the corner of the room. Moms and dads are integrating decorative nightlights into their themed nurseries. The one above from Jonathan Adler is one of the cutest we’ve seen! This nightlight is more of a design element, and less of an afterthought. 2. Growth Charts [caption id="attachment_4742" align="alignnone" width="420" caption="Track your wee one's growth with our removable, reusable, growth chart wall decal."][/caption] Who is more surprised by the rate that children grow, the parents, or the kids themselves? It’s tough to make that call. Decorative growth charts are all the rage in nurseries and kids rooms this year because parents and children delight in having something tangible to track what is happening before their very eyes. In 2011, we’ve seen some unique variations on the standard paper-version of growth charts. At weeDECOR, we have an adorable collection of growth chart wall decals. Our designs are interactive, meaning the kids can take part in marking their height each year. Our friends over at Petite Lemon offer another interesting spin on this design element with their canvas growth charts. 1. Non-traditional paint colors [caption id="attachment_4743" align="alignnone" width="349" caption="This Canadian mom just said "no" to baby blue."][/caption] This year, we've seen a radical departure from overly babyish nurseries. Some parents are selecting furniture and design elements that grow with the child. So instead of completely revamping the room as the child ages, parents just switch out the accessories and leave the major features the same. One way to accomplish this look is through the use of non-traditional paint colors in the nursery. The nursery above features a sophisticated dove gray wall color. A Canadian mom enveloped her baby's nursery in Benjamin Moore's Collingwood OC-28, but incorporated some child-like accessories. The room doesn't scream "baby," but isn't overly mature, either. This mom, like many others this year, chose a paint color that will see her baby well into the teen years.
Looking for Eco-Friendly, Organic Nursery Bedding? Honeyami Has It! November 09 2011[caption id="attachment_4677" align="alignnone" width="507" caption="Outfit your little social butterfly's crib with Honeyami's Social Butterfly crib bedding."][/caption] [caption id="attachment_4678" align="alignnone" width="507" caption="Adorable Honeyami bedding for your little night owl!"][/caption] At weeDECOR, we are always on the lookout for fresh, modern ideas for bedding and decor for nurseries and kids' rooms. When we caught our first glimpse of Honeyami's bedding collections, it was love at first sight! Delicate butterflies, handsome owls, and more grace the organic cotton bedding with to-die-for softness. The clean, simple designs are reminiscent of some of our favorite weeDECOR wall stickers. Honeyami's Social Butterfly bedding for cribs and twin beds is positively swoon-worthy. Beautiful butterflies swoop and swirl over a polka dot backdrop that is both sweet and fun on the social butterfly twin duvet set. The palest of pink butterflies and polka dots offer a beautiful and interesting contrast to the gray grosgrain trim. This color combination, while unexpected, works beautifully together and shows just how much attention to detail is put into Honeyami's designs! We can just imagine some of our butterfly wall stickers hanging right above a crib or bed adorned with Honeyami's social butterfly bedding. Our personalized butterfly delight wall decal would also help carry the theme from the bed to the walls. Decorating for a boy? Honeyami's adorable night owl bedding would be perfect for your little man. We absolutely love the scalloped background on the night owl twin duvet set that echoes the design of the feathered friend himself. The night owl applique pillow is a fabulous finishing touch to your little boy's room. Offered in a soft blue, the traditional color and untraditional design complement each other so well. And speaking of complements, weeDECOR has some adorable owl wall stickers that would bring a special touch to the walls of your nursery or kid's room. Honeyami is certainly not a member of the all-style-no-substance club! Their products are made with 100% organic cotton that is free of harmful dyes and chemicals. You and your little one can both rest peacefully knowing that he or she is safe and sound when cuddled up in Honeyami's darling bedding. See all of our fabulous finds for nursery bedding here. A Classic Pink Baby Nursery Designed by Little Crown Interiors for Muhammad Ali's Grandaughter September 18 2011[caption id="attachment_4509" align="alignnone" width="500" caption="Mother Laila Ali's Classic Pink Baby Nursery"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_4510" align="alignnone" width="495" caption="The Hope Crib in Pink in Baby Ali's Nursery"][/caption] We have always been huge fans of the work of Little Crown Interiors and this celebrity nursery is no different. Well, it's a little different in that Naomi and Gerri, the founders of Little Crown were hired by Muhammad Ali's daughter, Laila, to decorate her daughter Sydney's nursery. How exciting! You can read more about the project on Project Nursery, but we thought we would share the highlights. We love that this nursery features the Hope Crib. As you may recall from one of our earlier posts, Little Crown Interiors in conjunction with Southern California based luxury furniture maker, Newport Cottages, developed the Hope Crib to support breast cancer research. Each Hope Crib comes with a custom plaque for the owners to inscribe a sentiment of their choosing; on Sydney’s, the inscription reads, “Unconditionally Loved and Eternally Blessed.” To adorn the crib, Little Crown chose an organic Naturalmat mattress and custom crib bedding by Carousel Designs. Above the crib features breathtaking custom artwork piece from Art.com – a large photo of Muhammad Ali holding his infant daughter Laila, stretched onto canvas, a very personal element and a key focal point in the room. On each side of the stretched canvas are matching mirrors by Pottery Barn Kids. The nursery glider and coordinating ottoman were made by SPI Baby and the Newport Cottages toy box was custom painted to match Laila Ali’s nursery color scheme. What a Fine Day in the Garden! A Pink & Lavender Nature Themed Nursery from a Bay Area Mom April 24 2011[caption id="attachment_4182" align="alignnone" width="491" caption="Pink & Lavender Girl Nursery with weeDECOR's Brown Classic Tree Wall Decal"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_4183" align="alignnone" width="491" caption="Brianna's Personalized Owl Wall Decor with Butterflies"][/caption] How calming is it to be surrounded with colorful butterflies and flying little birds as if nestled in a serene, beautiful garden? This is exactly how we felt the moment we saw Brianna’s nursery - thanks to our mom from the San Francisco Bay Area. Brianna’s mom used our classic tree wall decal in rich chocolate brown as the highlight of her nursery and placed it just over the changing table providing the nice illusion of nature and sitting under a tree. Our standing bird wall decals in yellow and purple were also used to complete the visual, painting an inanimate picture of a beautiful garden on a nice day. To further accessorize the tree, Brianna’s mom added weeDECOR’s owl wall decals in purple perfectly complementing the wall paint of the nursery. The two-toned wall paint in pale pink and lavender in harmony with the purple owl wall decals set the cozy and serene ambiance of Brianna’s nursery. The paint is from Disney's line at Home Depot ("Hopeful" and "One Enchanted Evening"). Embellishing the theme of Brianna’s nursery are our heart butterfly wall decals in pink. Like a mom’s abundant love for her child, this San Francisco mom filled her baby’s walls with heart-shaped butterflies in pale pink and green accents, bringing nature to the baby's room. Watching over Brianna’s crib is our personalized owl wall decal in pale pink with classic type style. The owl sits perfectly still in a tree branch surrounded with birds and butterflies overlooking the crib. The crib bedding, the pretty polka dot rug and the clock used to accessorize the nursery were all from Pottery Barn Kids while the chair is from Babies r Us – all perfectly color coordinated to match and complement each other. And, mom added cherry wood furniture from Costco to give balance to the softer colors in the room. Thanks mom for sending in your photos! We love how you perfectly put together all the owl, tree, bird, alphabet and heart-shaped butterfly decals to embellish your little angel’s room. Lovely Lavender Owl Themed Nursery for Jenna September 08 2010[caption id="attachment_3476" align="alignnone" width="450" caption="Jenna's Lavender Nursery with weeDECOR Owl & Tree Wall Decals"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_3477" align="alignnone" width="449" caption="A Creative Take on weeDECOR's Butterfly Wall Decals"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_3478" align="alignnone" width="525" caption="Owl Picture: Decorative Contribution from Big Sister"][/caption] We were psyched to help this Massachusetts mom with her owl and nature themed, lavender nursery for baby girl Jenna. And, it looks like Jenna is very happy with it as well. Mom tells us, “My one year old loves her tree and little friends. We say goodnight to everyone each night before bed.” We love those smiles! To get this lovely lavender look, mom started with Benjamin Moore’s Beach Plum lavender paint. She then purchased a variety of weeDECOR wall decals to embellish and create Jenna’s nature scene. She decorated with our personalized owl branch wall decal in lavender and our smiley type style above the white crib. To decorate the rest of the room, she chose our classic tree wall decal in chocolate brown which adds nice contrast to the soft lavender and white accessorized room. She added weeDECOR’s butterfly wall decals, bird wall decals, owl wall decals, and a sweet baby turtle wall decal. We love the angled picture frame collage she designed with our butterfly wall decals and a few family photos in silver frames. Precious! Mom tells us, “I have received so many compliments and people always think it is paint - they can't believe they are decals. They really are beautiful quality.” For the finishing touches, mom chose an owl throw pillow and green butterfly lamp from Target. But, we must admit, the owl picture done by Jenna’s 7 year old obviously artistically-inclined sister is the true star of this show. Big thanks to this Massachusetts mom for sharing Jenna’s nursery with weeDECOR. See other weeDECOR customers' photos for more ideas on how to use weeDECOR wall decals in your nursery decor.

Fun Girl's Room Wall Paint Idea - Pink, Horizontal Stripes! December 20 2009[caption id="attachment_1480" align="aligncenter" width="360" caption="Pink Striped Wall Paint for a Girl's Room"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_1481" align="aligncenter" width="360" caption="Pink Striped Wall Paint Against Dresser in a Girl's Room"][/caption] Because wallpaper can be a pain in the neck to put up and take down, wall paint has become the preferred decorating solution to add liveliness and color to a room. It has encouraged creativity in selecting shades, styles, and palettes to get a one-of-a-kind look. Here is a perfect example of how all of these elements can help you create a fun girl's room with painted horizontal stripes. Designed by Diane Hughes, Barbara Vaughn and painted by Eric Karl Anderson, this room was decorated for the York Show House in Maine and published by Better Homes and Gardens. The room was designed with gorgeous shades of pink painted in thick horizontal stripes throughout these little girls' bedroom. What makes this room work so well is the modern wide stripes in classic colors of pink wall paint juxtaposed against romantic styled white furniture and decor. The rounded corners on the bed and dresser soften the angularity of the stripes. In particular, the white round wall mirror looks stunning on the wall. And, the white wicker furniture adds to the coziness of the room. How fun! Sweet as Candy Pink for Decorating Girls' Rooms - Delicious! December 04 2009
[caption id="attachment_1353" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Pink Damask Bedding and Striped Wall Paint"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_1354" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Classic Pink Decor with Candy Striped Walls"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_1355" align="aligncenter" width="560" caption="Pink Striped Girl's Quilt with Lavender and Green"][/caption] Yes, there is so much pink in girls' room decorating. But, that is simply because it is so fun and such a versatile color with which to decorate. These three delicious decor sets from luxury kid's room and baby nursery decor retailer Rosenberry Rooms inspired our article title - or maybe it was the thought of holiday sweets :). Either way, you cannot go wrong with these sweet as candy pink decor sets! We love damask as a way to bring a classic look to a kid's bedroom. But, in order for it not to feel so heavy, a bright color is needed. That is why we love this damask print bedding highlighted with green, pink, and white candy striped bed skirt and accent pillows. The pink and white striped wall paint is easy to recreate with a little tape on the wall and a steady hand. Put the icing on the cake with a few hanging wall letters or wall decals and a candy striped rug. If you prefer something a bit more classic, consider toning down the colors with a soft gray or toning down the patterns with a classic rose pattern as is featured in the second decor set above in the chair and rug. The pink bedding set is by Oopsy Daisy (known for their children's wall art) and New Arrival's Inc. The vertical candy striped wall helps bring height to the space which is helpful given the wide dresser and bed in the room. Finally, the bright green, white, and pink candy striped girl's bedding in the third set screams sweet as sugar! Balance is brought to the room with the soft lavender wall paint and sage green rug. Now that we have your taste buds humming, check out our other articles for decorating girls rooms in pink and damask.
