Stylish Upholstery & Drapery Fabrics for the Nursery

[caption id="attachment_1404" align="aligncenter" width="427" caption="Blue and Yellow Polka Dot Drapery or Upholstery Fabric"][/caption] [caption id="attachment_1405" align="aligncenter" width="427" caption="Pink Giraffe Pattern Fabric for Drapery or Upholstery"][/caption] You may have heard of Mood Designer Fabrics on Project Runway or some of the fashion magazines.  Mood actually has some cute and unique fabrics for the mom seeking a one-of-a-kind nursery or kid's room.  We've been to Mood fabrics in New York City and it is a designer and craft lover's dream.  Although not the cheapest of fabric stores, they have reams and reams of amazing, designer quality and designer name fabrics that you can't find anywhere else for both fashion and home decor. Take a peek at the four we've selected above.  The first is a gorgeous collection of modern colored polka dots in bright yellow, orange, lime green, and pink.  This is a sheer fabric that would look cute as an inset to matching drapery in a nursery or playroom. The fabric also comes in more muted blue and beige polka dots. The second is a woven polyester in light aqua with cream and beige stripes. We think it would look lovely on a glider in a boy's classicly decorated nursery. The third is an adorable bright blue and sunny yellow polka dot print great for a gender neutral nursery or playroom.  It is made of a medium weight cotton that would work for drapery or upholstery.  We think this pattern would make super cute drapes in a playroom.  And, the last is an absolutely fabulous pink giraffe print that would make a modern nursery glam!  The giraffe print comes in other colors such as bright pink and olive green.  We can envision it on an ottoman or step stool in a girl's giraffe themed nursery.  Or, for a true visual centerpiece - consider it for your glider.
